Accessibility statement
Updated: 9 September 2026
Our commitment
We see the accessibility of this site as part of the service itself, not as an extra. The site was designed and built so that it can also serve people with a visual disability, a motor disability, a hearing impairment or a reading difficulty, including keyboard-only users and users of screen readers.
Level of accessibility
The site is built in line with Israeli Standard 5568, which adopts the WCAG 2.0 guidelines of the W3C, at conformance level AA.
What has been done on the site
- A correct, hierarchical heading structure on every page, and one main heading per page.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a clear and prominent focus indicator on every component.
- A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
- Alternative text for every image, and decorative images hidden from screen readers.
- Contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 for text, in dark mode too.
- Explicit labels for every form field, select box and button.
- Correct language marking: English as the language of this version of the site, and separate tagging for Hebrew and Japanese text so that a screen reader pronounces it correctly.
- No information is conveyed by colour alone.
- The operating system setting for reduced motion is respected.
- The display works at up to 200 percent zoom and on narrow screens.
Known limitations
Despite the effort, some pages may contain components that are not fully accessible:
- Links to external sites, such as Google Maps and booking sites, are subject to the accessibility policies of those sites and are not our responsibility.
- Some of the images come from Wikimedia Commons, and their alternative text is the name of the place rather than a detailed description of the photograph.
We keep fixing and improving. If you run into a problem, we would be glad if you reported it, and it will be dealt with.
Accessibility coordinator and contact
If you have difficulty using the site, or a component is not accessible to you, you can contact us by email and we will reply within two business days. You can write in Hebrew or in English, and there is no need to give details beyond the page where you ran into the problem.

Office accessibility
The site operates as an online service only. There is no physical location open to the public, and therefore there are no accessibility adjustments to a building.
