Privacy policy

In short

The site is a static content site. It has no sign-up, no user accounts, and we do not ask you for personal details in order to read it.

Who is responsible for the information

The owner of the site and the holder of the database, should one be set up, is Amit De Castro Dekel. For any matter related to privacy: info@yallajapan.co.il.

What information is collected

• Technical usage data. The hosting server automatically records the IP address, the browser type, the operating system and the page viewed. This is needed for security and for running the server.
• Traffic measurement. The site counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics, from the hosting company Vercel. It does not use cookies and does not identify you by name. It records the page viewed, the site you came from, the browser type, the operating system, the device type and the country. To count each visitor once, it computes a temporary identifier from the request, which resets every day and is not stored. We only see totals, such as how many times each page was viewed. Vercel's servers may be outside Israel.
• Contact you initiate. If you send us an email, we keep the message and the sender's address in order to reply.

Cookies

The site does not use advertising cookies and does not share information with advertising networks. The fonts are hosted by us too and are not loaded from Google's servers, so viewing a page does not send your IP address to a third party. The only exception is a link that you choose to click and that leads to an external site.

Transfer of information to third parties

We do not sell information and do not pass it to a third party, except for the infrastructure providers that host the site, and where we are required to by law or by a court order.

Clicking an affiliate link (see the terms of use) takes you through a Travelpayouts server to the supplier's site. Our page loads nothing from them and sends them nothing before the click. From the click onwards the privacy policies of the network and of the supplier apply, including a cookie the supplier stores to attribute a booking to the link.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept for a short period for security and operations. Emails are kept for as long as they are needed to handle the request.

Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, you have the right to know whether information is held about you, to review it, to ask for it to be corrected and to ask for it to be deleted. To make a request: info@yallajapan.co.il. We will reply within the time set by law.

Minors

The site is not intended for children under the age of 14 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we start collecting additional information, for example when user accounts or payment open, we will update this page before the change takes effect.
