The Capitol Hotel Tokyu opened in autumn 2010 in Nagatacho, near the National Diet Building and the Prime Minister's residence. The building was designed by the architect Kengo Kuma, and the rooms have shoji screens. It stands right next to Hie Shrine and is surrounded by the shrine's trees.
It has 251 rooms, 14 of them suites. The basic room, Deluxe, is 44.8 square meters with a king bed or two beds. A Premier corner room is 57.8 square meters and suits three people. The hotel has a Japanese restaurant (Suiren), a Chinese restaurant (Hoshigaoka), a pool and a gym.
The hotel suits a couple who want a quiet luxury hotel in the center, and anyone on business near the government offices.
