Ain Soph Ginza
Ain Soph Ginza is a fully vegan restaurant, with no meat, fish, dairy or eggs, and the main branch of a chain founded in 2009. It is on the Higashi-Ginza side, right next to the Kabukiza theater. On floor 1 there is a vegan patisserie, and on floors 2 to 4 the restaurant.
The signature dish is a pancake made of rice flour and coconut oil, gluten-free, with house blueberry jam, ¥2,550. At lunch there are dishes from 2,200 to 3,900 yen, for example a tomato burger at ¥2,300 and a spinach green curry at ¥2,400. Many of the dishes are gluten-free, and you can ask for a version without garlic and onion.
Vegan is not kosher: there is no supervision, and the kitchen also handles other allergens. This is a choice for those who are satisfied with a plant-based diet.
Good to know
- At lunch there is a 90-minute limit.
- A single pancake, ¥1,870, is enough as a dessert.
- At the patisserie on floor 1 you can buy pudding and cookies to take away without waiting for a table.
