Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel (Shibuya)
Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel is a tower on Route 246 in the Sakuragaoka district, about 5 minutes on foot from the south exit of JR Shibuya Station. It has 403 rooms according to JTB, all on floors 19 to 37, above office floors. The hotel celebrates 25 years this year.
The building has 11 restaurants and bars. On floor 40 are the French restaurant Coucagno and Bar Bellovisto, which looks out over the Shinjuku skyscrapers. On floor 2 is the jazz club JZ Brat, and on floor B2 a Noh theater that hosts Noh and Kyogen performances with tickets.
It suits people who want a large, quiet hotel with a view, near the station but not inside the bustle of the crossing. According to the hotel, on clear days you can see Mount Fuji from the windows that face west.
Good to know
- The executive floor lounge (floor 35) is under renovation from 7.5.2026 until about mid-December 2026. Meanwhile it operates in a suite on floor 37, 07:00 to 21:00, without breakfast.
- Electrical inspection: on 6.1.2027 between 10:30 and 15:00 there is no power in the rooms, and no check-in before 15:00. On the night between 24 and 25 January 2027 there will be two power cuts of about 10 minutes.
- A child up to age 6 who sleeps in the parents' bed does not pay. From age 7 the child counts as an adult in the booking.
- From Haneda Airport there is a direct limousine bus, about an hour. From Narita, about an hour and 25 minutes.
