Sequence Miyashita Park (Shibuya)
sequence MIYASHITA PARK is a 240-room hotel at the north end of the Miyashita Park complex: a long building along the tracks between Shibuya and Harajuku, with a public park on its roof. The hotel opened on 1.8.2020 and is run by the Mitsui Fudosan hotel company.
The rooms are small: a double room for one person starts at 13.7 square meters, and a queen room for two at 18.3 square meters. There are also bunk rooms with up to six beds, and suites on floor 17. On floor 4 are the lobby and the cafe Valley Park Stand, on floor 5 the restaurant Twelve on the Park, and on floor 18 the rooftop bar SOAK with a terrace.
It suits young travelers, couples and groups of friends who want to sleep inside Shibuya and walk to Harajuku. There is no pool, gym, public bath or room service.
Good to know
- Check-in starts only at 17:00, later than usual in Japan. You can leave luggage at reception before check-in and after check-out, and collect it the same day.
- No cash and no transit card payment: only credit cards and some payment apps. There is also no charging to the room, and you pay for every expense in the hotel on the spot.
- The rooftop park is closed between 23:00 and 08:00. During those hours you enter by the hotel elevator on floor 1, at the north end of RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK, and go up to floor 4.
- On stays of several nights the room is cleaned every other day. You can do self check-in with face recognition if you register between 3 days before arrival and arrival.
