Park Hyatt Tokyo (Shinjuku)
Park Hyatt Tokyo occupies floors 39 to 52 of Shinjuku Park Tower, in west Shinjuku. The hotel opened in 1994, closed for a renovation of about 19 months, and reopened in December 2025. It has 171 rooms, all on floor 41 or higher.
On floor 41 are Girandole, a French restaurant run with chef Alain Ducasse, and the Peak Lounge & Bar. On floor 52 are the New York Grill and New York Bar, which came back after the renovation in their original design. Floors 45 and 47 are the hotel's spa club, which includes a pool.
The hotel is known from Sofia Coppola's film 'Lost in Translation'. It suits a couple looking for a luxury hotel on the west side of the station, not on the Kabukicho side.
