Square Enix Cafe & Shop Shinjuku (Officially Licensed SQUARE ENIX Cafe & Shop SHINJUKU) opened on 12 June 2026 in Paselabo Tower, Shinjuku 3-36-1. Floor 1 is a shop of official goods, and floors 2 and 3 are a cafe. The operator is Newton Co., Ltd.
The regular menu is based on Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, NieR:Automata and Fullmetal Alchemist, as of 18 July 2026, and the line-up may change. Dishes cost ¥770 to ¥2,200, for example the Potion ¥990, the 'Moon's Tears' milk tea float ¥1,100 and the Chocobo salad ¥1,320. The shop also sells goods from Kingdom Hearts and Black Butler.
It is not a continuation of the old branch: Square Enix Cafe Tokyo in Akihabara closed on 31 March 2025. The new branch is a permanent shop and cafe under a different operator.
Good to know
- If you arrive without a reservation you can try the cafe only if a seat is free, so it is better to book. The shop on floor 1 is open to everyone.
- The line-up of series in the shop and on the menu is as of 18 July 2026 and may change. Check the official site before you come for a specific series.
- We have no information on kosher status or vegetarian dishes on the menu, so treat it as not kosher.
