Albatross Koenji
Albatross opened in 2011 as a sister shop of Slat, and sits inside the Pal shopping arcade, the covered shopping street that leads out of the South Exit. It is strong on band and music T-shirts, sportswear, classic Americana and character items, leaning toward the 90s. Most of the stock is for men, with many wide cuts, and there is also children's clothing.
The group has more shops nearby: Albatross 2nd, which opened in 2018 on the second floor of Slat at the end of the Pal shopping arcade, and the flagship Slat itself on the ground floor. The main shop is at Koenji Minami 3-46-9, about four minutes' walk from the station.
Good to know
- If you are looking for a band T-shirt or sportswear from the 90s, start here. If you are looking for jeans and military clothing, go on to Slat.
- Another vintage shop, goodbuy, opened at the same address on the second floor in March 2026. Do not mix up the entrances.
